Bethel Apostolic Pulpit Presents ...

Sabbath Day's Journey

By: Pastor David A. Brown
Date: 2007-12-12 WED PM
Length: 00:29:39

Description:
In the Wilderness, the furthest anyone would have to walk to get to the Tabernacle was about one mile or 2,000 paces. So the expression, "a sabbath day's journey", derives its meaning in context of a journey to the House of God. In a manner of speaking, that is the road we are all on, trying to make heaven our home and find fulfillment in living for God on this earth. It doesn't matter how you got here, how long it took you to get here or what condition your journey has left you in; it just matters that your journey brings you to the Rest that God has given which is the Holy Ghost! "...this is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing...". Isaiah 28:12
